Weak is the New Strong Some days, I feel an overwhelming heaviness in my heart. Often for things that I can't change, but feel a responsibility to do something about. Sometimes the only thing I can do is take it to God. To get down on my knees in prayer and surrender. This is not a sign of hopelessness though. When these moments come, God has me exactly where he wants me. Completely in need of and reliant on Him. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Some of you might read that and think, WTH.
